Hey Everyone! This time out, I’ve got one that you can absolutely shred. It’s a five note idea played as 32nd notes. The PDF is included below for you to download. I’ve been back to using a double pedal lately and you’ll notice that this idea is notated using two bass drums/double pedal. This is one of the secrets to really shredding these licks at blazing speed.

Don’t worry if you’re not into the double pedal thing. You can still play this lick with just one bass drum. Make sure to get the balance between your hands and feet nice and even so that this sounds smooth and continuous. The typical mistake drummers make with ideas like this is to play the bass drum too loud relative to the hands.
