Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on something very important to me. I’ve asked some friends and some acquaintances for help. I’ve been overwhelmed with the assistance I’ve gotten. In some cases the help came even without my asking. This goodness in people has given me comfort, encouragement, joy and hope in the possible realization of my biggest dreams.
Thoughtful readers: I ask you to do something good for someone else. It could be a favor you’ve been asked for. It could be something you’ve noticed could help someone but haven’t been asked for.
Whatever the gesture or action is, there is a possibility that by taking action, you may change someone’s life for the better. It might be some little thing, like giving a homeless man a cup of coffee or it could be something bigger like recommending someone for a job.
In my case, the favors that my friends and acquaintances (soon to develop into friends, I hope) have done for me over the past few weeks have the potential to be massively life changing.
But even if I don’t reach the specific goal I’m seeking with the help I’ve been given by these people, my life has already been changed for the better.
The reason? I’m encouraged to continue my quest and further pursue my dreams. And there is not much that can be better than that.
Help someone.
Happy Holidays.
Warmly,
Mark F

Mark
I have always been so proud of you. Your quest for excellence and mastery is formidable. When you shifted gears quite a few years ago, I was inspired by your passion and drive. I am so happy to see you are getting some return on the investment you have made in yourself and your business and drum mastery.
with great appreciation
